How to select locks

1. The products of enterprises with high reputation, stable quality and good after-sales service should be selected.

2. First, check whether the labels and marks of the purchased product packaging are complete (including the product's executive standard, grade, manufacturer's name, address, and production date), and whether the packaging is firm, and whether the contents of the manual are consistent with the product. Be careful to avoid exaggeration and inconsistency with the facts.

3. Observe the appearance quality of the product, including whether the lock head, lock body, lock tongue, handle, cover plate parts and relevant supporting parts are complete, whether the surface color of the electroplated parts and painted parts is bright and uniform, and whether there are signs of rust, oxidation and damage.

4. Check whether the use function of the product is reliable and flexible. More than two products should be selected for comparative inspection. Especially when purchasing two-way lock products, all keys must be used to test the internal and external locks. Also check the safety mechanism of the product. It is recommended that each lock be tested at least three times.

5. Then check the tooth pattern of the key. For example, if there are five key teeth, each key should have no less than three different key teeth. At the same time, the deepest key teeth should not be selected for the first and fifth teeth as far as possible to facilitate the insertion and extraction of the key and not easy to break.
